The Oxford School is a registered Cambridge Centre in Panama
Students from Grade 2 to 12 complete a range of Cambridge assessments, which support the school with monitoring how students are responding to the curriculum.
PROGRESSION EXAMS
Tracking progress
Progression exams are administered in: English, mathematics and science. The purpose of this assessment is to track how students have progressed through the academic year.
Assessment data is uploaded onto our platform; so that we can monitor progress of each student through Primary and Middle School.


CHECK POINTS
Completion of Primary or Middle School
Checkpoints are an end of key stage examination, which are administered in Grade 5 and Grade 8 for English, mathematics and science. These exams are administered in The Oxford School Edison Plaza and are sent to Cambridge, England to be graded by
Cambridge Examination Officers. Cambridge then provide certificates as well as progress reports which identifies the student’s strengths and the areas for development.
AS/A LEVEL /ADVANCED INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION
International qualifications
These international examinations take place at the end of the course; therefore, students have sufficient time to deepen their understanding of the subject they choose. Students are able to choose the subjects that they want to complete examinations for, therefore it supports students to consider their future aspirations and make informed decisions. The AS/A level examinations are international qualifications, which are accepted at over 1400 institutions, across 195 countries.
